cubicweb #119938: the ui of the personal/site preferences is tedious to use [resolved]

Some sections are badly named, seem redundant, don't advertise properly their content.

There should be no "validate" button per entry, not even one global validate button : changes should be applied immediately. Possibility to reset to defaults should be there, also an action to "undo" the last immediate (session-scoped ?) changes would be welcome.

well, now it is a bit less tedious : sections remember their open/collapsed status still quite unperfect

    there was once a ticket about this (before cw went public ?) that just asked that the big form come back open at the same position after validating some change -- maybe that would be a sufficient/acceptable solution to the ergonomic pain
