cubicweb #1592413 Use HTML5 input types [open]

HTML5 introduces quite a new bunch of input types (url, number, range, tel, color, date, moth, email, etc.) and browsers degrade input types to text on unknown types.

Our custom widgets (e.g. DatePicker) might then :

  • use the HTML5 input if the browser supports it
  • use the original JS version otherwise

The benefits would at least be :

  • better graphic integration
  • client-side form validation
